PLC backbone and NearLink setup: a direction under validation
PLC is being evaluated for backbone communication in selected scenarios, while NearLink is being explored for nearby setup and diagnostics; neither is a standard delivery commitment.
Why consider two links
Large venues need both long-distance backbone communication and flexible nearby setup. Those functions can be handled by separate links.
Current validation direction
Current work considers power-line communication for selected backbone use and NearLink-class connectivity for device discovery, setup and diagnostics.
Not a standard deliverable yet
Stability, compatibility and release status remain under validation. Unconfirmed capabilities are not included in formal specifications or project commitments.
